Girlfriend demands $40,000 for abortion

Dear Pastor,

I am 20 years old and my girlfriend is 24. We have been going together for six months, and recently she found out that she is pregnant.

I am not sure if this child is mine, because when I met her she was still in a relationship with another man, and she said she was going to leave him. When she told me she broke up with him, I said okay. I was glad to hear that they were no longer together. We started to have sex. I used the condom a couple of times, but she always complained that when I did, she didn't get the type of enjoyment that she wanted. I told her that I was afraid of the 'baby business', so we should continue to use protection. She has two children and I don't have any.

My grandmother warned me about this woman. It had nothing to do with her age, but grandma told me that anybody who has two children and is not working will have to rely on a man to take care of her. I am not earning much money, so I started to give her $10,000 a week. She told me that that can't do anything. I told her she didn't have to cook for me, but I would spend each Sunday with her, so she could use part of the money to cook for me. When I started to visit her, she told me that the children told their father that I was coming to her house, and he told them not to trust any man they didn't know. These are just little children. I don't know why a big man would question children about another man.

I believe this woman is fooling me. I don't believe I got her pregnant. She told me that if I am fretting, I should give her $40,000 to get rid of the pregnancy.

I promised her the money, but I don't intent to give it to her. I prefer to see her have the child and do the DNA test to prove if I am the child's father. She said she does not want to have another child. What do you suggest that I should do?

I suggest you keep your penis in your pants. This woman could be trying to trick you.

She probably needs some money, so she is telling you that she is pregnant. A young lady came to see me and told me that she had a boyfriend who is a police officer, and when it came to giving her money, he was very tight. So she lied and told him that she was pregnant and needed money from him to abort the pregnancy. He did not believe her, so she gave him a date when the doctor would terminate the pregnancy and told him to take her to the doctor's office on the day. He gave her the money and drove her to the office. While he parked at a place where he could see what was going on in the office, she 'chatted' with the receptionist, then she went in. When the police officer saw that she went in, he felt convinced that she was indeed pregnant and he drove away. After spending some time inside the office, she came out grinning and pocketed the money. She was not pregnant at all; she wanted more money from the officer.

Don't make yourself a fool. Some woman will trick you just to get more money from you. However, always remember that any man who is having unprotected sex can indeed impregnate a woman.
