‘Pretty Puss’ charged after dominoes game ends in fatal stabbing
A game of dominoes allegedly turned deadly in New Haven after an argument between two players erupted into violence, leaving one man dead and an 18-year-old now facing a murder charge.
Oneil Thompson, otherwise called ‘Pretty Puss’, has been charged with murder and being armed with an offensive weapon following the incident on Emerson Avenue, New Haven, Kingston 20, on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as 29-year-old Christopher Wray, otherwise called ‘Tunku Man’, a labourer of Riverside Drive, Kingston 20.
Reports from the Duhaney Park police are that about 11:20 p.m., Thompson and Wray were playing dominoes when an argument reportedly developed between them.
The dispute allegedly turned physical, during which Thompson reportedly used a knife to stab Wray in the upper body.
Wray was assisted to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Thompson reportedly fled the area following the incident but was later apprehended on Wednesday, September 2.
He was formally charged after a question-and-answer session.
His court date is being finalised.
