I’m seeking a good man

Dear Pastor,

I have been a regular reader of your column since I was in my teens. I highly respect what you are doing. You have been a great inspiration for a lot of people. I am a 32-year-old Christian mother of two. I am a practical nurse and I do hairdressing at times. I consider myself ambitious, but I have faced problems that caused me to backslide.

I am seeking a genuine Christian man to build a relationship with. He should be serious about life and must possess good family values. He should be kind-hearted and respectful. I prefer someone who lives overseas.

I am willing to date someone outside of my race. Please help me to find a nice gentleman. The person I am seeking should be between the ages of 40 and 65.

I trust that the Good Lord will provide a good man for you. It does appear that you would prefer a man who lives abroad. Nothing is wrong with that, and if it is the Lord's desire for you to have someone who lives abroad, he will lead that man to you or you to him. Take good care of yourself, and I hope to be in touch with you.
