Knaxx elevates his career with new EP

Jamaican recording artiste Knaxx has officially released his latest EP, Elevate, an eight-track project that captures the realities of ambition, resilience, personal growth and the experiences that have shaped his journey.

Headlined by the title track, featuring dancehall star Alkaline, the EP explores themes of perseverance, faith, and purpose while reflecting Knaxx’s belief that success is earned through discipline, vision, and unwavering determination.

“Elevate represents where I am mentally and spiritually. It’s about trusting God’s timing, staying focused despite the obstacles, and believing that the work you put in today creates the life you’re praying for tomorrow,” said Knaxx.

“Every song on Elevate represents a different chapter of my journey. Some celebrate growth, some confront pain, but all of them remind people that the only direction in life is up.”

While the opening track celebrates progress and the fulfilment of long-held dreams, the remainder of the project offers listeners different chapters of Knaxx’s story. On My Life, for example, he reflects on overcoming hardship through faith, embracing love over hate, and taking ownership of his own destiny. Energy addresses betrayal, jealousy, and the negative influences that grinding, remain honourable, and provide for those they love. The project also embraces dancehall’s signature energy with Balance, a vibrant record celebrating attraction, confidence, and nightlife.

Featuring guest appearances from Romieikon, Sortie, and 1Ski OG, Elevate blends motivational themes with authentic storytelling, melodic dancehall, and contemporary production to create a cohesive listening experience.

“This project isn’t about saying I’ve made it,” Knaxx added. “It’s about showing people that no matter where you start, the only direction is up if you stay focused and never stop believing.”
