Christojaye Daley made his debut in the Macedonia First Division yesterday, and the winger admits that he is still trying to settle in the set-up of his new outfit, FK Rabotnicki, after moving from Harbour View at the end of the last Jamaica Premier League (JPL) season.

The 22-year-old Daley played in the last 15 minutes in a 2-0 defeat of FK Sileks and said he was eager to play his first match.

However, with that out of the way, the young forward plans to assess his situation and make adjustments while applying himself; in the future.

"I am still settling in. I am still getting to know the players, tactics and such," he told STAR Sports.

"I was very eager to make my debut. Kevin (Cowan - his agent) even called me and told me to 'Just be myself'. From the minute I came on, I just wanted to show what I could do, and it was not a bad game," Daley said.

Daley, who was with FC Koper in the Slovenian Premier League two seasons ago before returning to Harbour View last season, noted that he has been putting in the work and, with better support, he is expecting his stay in Europe this time to be much more successful.

"I have been working harder, and the season looks like it will be exciting, so I am just looking forward to whatever challenge comes. The first time (in Europe), even though some things could have improved on my part, I also needed a little help from the club, which they didn't provide.

"So this time, I have the right support and mindset to do great things. I am not putting any pressure on myself. Just trying to stay relaxed and focused," he continued.

He pointed out that the league is a quality league with experienced players but thinks he has what it takes to succeed.

"Everything is not a hundred per cent, but it's coming together. I have not sat back and visualised any targets (for the season). I was waiting to see how the league is structured and how I am going to go about doing things, so maybe in a few days, when I go home and look back on my performance, I will analyse everything and see what I can do to get goals," he said.

"I'm glad to debut, and I am looking to do my best, but there is no set target."
