Brother wanted after sibling stabbed to death in Portmore dispute

A heated argument between two brothers in Portmore, St Catherine, turned deadly yesterday, leaving one sibling dead from a stab wound and the other being sought by police for murder.

Dead is 30-year-old Shaquille Wilson, an unemployed man of 29 Beverly Flats, Newlands, Portmore.

Police have named his 29-year-old brother, Shakeem Wilson, of the same address, as the suspect.

Reports are that about 6:30 a.m., the two brothers were at their home when an argument developed between them.

During the dispute, Shakeem allegedly used a knife to stab Shaquille in the neck.

Shaquille reportedly collapsed, while his brother fled the scene.

He was rushed to the Spanish Town General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Portmore Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the murder and is searching for the suspect.
