Man found injured in gully dies in hospital
Police in Spanish Town, St Catherine, have launched an investigation following the death of a man who was found critically injured in a gully and later died in hospital.
Dead is 36-year-old labourer Orane Goldbourne of Tawes Pen, Spanish Town.
Reports are that about 4 a.m. on May 16, passers-by stumbled upon Goldbourne in a gully in the area with what appeared to be a wound to the back of his head.
He was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries about 10 p.m. on May 17 while undergoing treatment.
The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
