We will look at the following three options in greater detail: tyre flip, battle rope and hammering.
Tyre flip: This is usually done with a used tractor tyre. With the tyre lying face down, the person assumes a squat whilst tucking the hands underneath the tyre. Lift the tyre up whilst standing up thrusting the hips forward. This is a strength and cardio exercise, engaging the muscles in the bend movement pattern, targeting the whole body, this will also raise the heart rate if it is done continuously for a number of times.
Battle ropes: This is simply using a rope of minimum 1.5 inch thickness, wrapped around an object to keep the rope fixed. Holding the rope at both ends, vigorously move the hands up and down allowing the rope to dance on the floor. This is a high intensity cardio exercise, geared at quickly raising heart rate.
Hammering: This is done by using a sledge hammer to hit an unbreakable object. This is a cardio exercise for burning those extra calories. Remember to alternate arms to avoid developing a muscular imbalance.
