Avaran finds his ‘Sunshine After Rain’

Internationally acclaimed Bahamian reggae artiste Avaran is hoping to warm hearts with his new lovers’ rock single, Sunshine After Rain, as he embarks on his first dedicated promotional tour of Jamaica.

Recorded at Kingston’s renowned Anchor Recording Studio, the song celebrates love, gratitude and hope after life’s difficult seasons.

“Sunshine After Rain was inspired by the feeling of finding someone who changes your world for the better,” Avaran said. “Sometimes we go through seasons in life searching for that special person, and then one day Jah blesses you with someone who brings peace, happiness and purpose into your life. That’s what this song celebrates.”

Avaran said launching the project in Jamaica was an easy decision.

“Jamaica is the birthplace of reggae and I wanted to bring this project here first ,to show respect to the people, the musicians and the culture that gave reggae to the world. This visit is very special because it’s my first time coming specifically to promote one of my songs to the Jamaican public,” he said.

Although he has shared stages with reggae legends including Lucky Dube, Beres Hammond and Mykal Rose, the Bahamian singer admitted his journey has not been without challenges.

“Like many independent artistes, I experienced setbacks that slowed my career. But I never stopped writing, recording and believing that every new song was preparing me for the next chapter.”

Released through his independent label, HungryBelly Records, Sunshine After Rain reflects Avaran’s commitment to authentic reggae music and creative independence.

With an official music video and a completed album already in the pipeline, Avaran believes Sunshine After Rain marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

“I hope the song reminds people that after every storm comes sunshine. Keep believing, keep loving and never lose hope,” he said.
