Magnum Experience at Reggae Sumfest to turn dancehall dreams into reality
This year’s Magnum Reggae Sumfest: ‘A Taste of Reggae Sumfest’ will offer more than world-class performances, as Magnum Tonic Wine invites patrons to step into an immersive celebration of dancehall culture where fans will not only witness the action, but become part of it.
As title sponsor of the Caribbean’s premier music festival, Magnum is making its mark at Plantation Cove with an interactive playground that captures the essence of dancehall through music, fashion, and dance. Designed to be one of the festival’s standout attractions, the Magnum Experience will feature a premium interactive lounge dubbed the ‘Magnum Endz’ exclusive bucket deals, immersive photo opportunities and high-energy entertainment that keeps the vibes flowing before and throughout the show night.
In a first for the festival, Magnum will also introduce a recording studio inside the activation, giving aspiring artistes and music lovers the opportunity to step behind the microphone and experience what it feels like to record a track in a professional setting. Whether it’s discovering hidden talent or simply creating a memorable moment to share, the experience promises to be unlike anything patrons have encountered before.
Adding another authentic layer to the activation, legendary dancer Shelly Belly will lead live dancehall dance classes, inviting festivalgoers to learn some of the culture’s most iconic moves from one of Jamaica’s most celebrated performers. From seasoned dancers to first-timers, everyone will have the chance to embrace the energy, confidence, and creativity that define dancehall.
“Magnum Endz is all about bringing fans closer to the culture they love,” said Brandon Wallace, brand manager for Magnum. “For years, our brand has proudly invested in dancehall because we understand its impact, not only as music but as a lifestyle and a powerful expression of Jamaican creativity. This year, we wanted to create an experience — a Magnum Experience — where patrons don’t simply watch the culture unfold but where they can record it, dance it, celebrate it and truly live it. We are creating big moments that people will remember long after Reggae Sumfest ends.”
The activation reflects Magnum’s continued commitment to championing dancehall by creating opportunities for authentic engagement while celebrating the people and personalities who continue to shape the genre.
“Every element has been carefully curated to encourage self-expression, connection, and memorable experiences that extend beyond the main stage,” Wallace added.
Whether relaxing in the high-energy Magnum Endz, taking advantage of exclusive Magnum bucket specials, stepping into the recording booth or learning fresh dance moves from Shelly Belly and his crew, patrons can expect the Magnum Experience to be one of the defining attractions of “A Taste of Reggae Sumfest.”
While the music may headline the festival, but the Magnum Experience promises to ensure every patron becomes part of the show.
