Dancehall artiste Rygin King has reportedly landed in the custody of United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The deejay, whose given name is Matthew Smith, was reportedly taken into custody yesterday, with his detention now listed on the official ICE website.

Details surrounding the circumstances of his detention remain unclear, as no official explanation has been given up to press time.

The online listing shows that the Jamaican-born entertainer is being held under ICE authority, but the specific location of his detention has not been disclosed, with the site advising that further information be obtained directly through the agency.
