More than two months after bullets shattered the Big Wall Carnival after-party, popular podcaster Jaii Frais and music producer Jahvy Ambassador are set to return to court later this year as the high-profile case continues to unfold.

The two men appeared in the Gun Court on Thursday, where their bail was extended. They are now scheduled to return on October 28 for a plea and case management hearing.

Jaii Frais, whose real name is Jhaedee Richards, is charged with wounding with intent, shooting with intent, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Music producer Jahvy Ambassador, whose given name is Jahvel Morrison, faces charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, wounding with intent, and using a prohibited weapon to commit a felony.

The charges stem from a shooting at the Big Wall entertainment event held at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre in St Andrew on April 12, during which three people were shot.

According to police, about 9:30 p.m., a physical altercation broke out among patrons before escalating into an exchange of gunfire between two individuals.

Three people reportedly sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Police said Richards, who was among those injured, was treated and released into police custody, while another injured person remained hospitalised.

Investigators also reported seizing two firearms in connection with the incident. Morrison was subsequently taken into custody.

Richards is represented by attorneys Isat Buchanan and D'ondre Buchanan, while King's Counsel Peter Champagnie, along with attorneys Sayeed Bernard and Richard Lynch, represents Morrison.
