Yanni Cassanova looks to empower youth
Inspired by the success of his single, Rise, reggae-dancehall recording artiste Yanni Cassanova, alongside his management team RC Entertainment, has launched The Rise Charity, an initiative dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening communities through meaningful giving.
The programme officially began with the donation of book vouchers to two students impacted by Hurricane Melissa, which hit Jamaica last October.
"We're excited to give back to the youth and community through this charity initiative," said Yanni Cassanova. "The song has brought so much joy to listeners and fans alike, and we're elated to use it as a catalyst for good."
Yanni Cassanova is known for delivering powerful, purpose-driven music rooted in resilience, faith, and triumph. By blending authentic Caribbean sounds with modern global production, he creates high-energy records that uplift, motivate, and forge deep connections with audiences worldwide.
Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Jon FX, Rise fits perfectly into the track list of his latest EP, Tables Turn.
"It (the EP) was born from a season where life forced me to listen, learn, and grow in ways I never expected. It's about those moments when the odds are stacked against you - when you're counted out, overlooked, or misunderstood - but you keep moving anyway. Tables Turn is my reflection on resilience, faith, and quiet perseverance, told through the pulse of dancehall because joy itself can be an act of resistance," said the artiste.
He added, "Every rhythm carries a reminder that nothing stays the same forever: pain can become power, struggle can turn into strength, and the very tables meant to hold you down can turn in your favour. The track list is for anyone who kept dancing even when life tried to break their spirit."
Next month, during his birth month, Yanni Cassanova, through The Rise Charity, will be participating in widespread outreach focused on youth development through sports and education.
