Body of two-month-old discovered in bucket of water, mother being sought

The rural community of Top Hill in Manchester has become a scene of a crime that sent shock throuhout the area after a baby boy was found dead in a bucket of water.

Reports indicate that the discovery of the two-month-old's body was made this afternoon.

The police's Corporate Communications Unit confirmed the incident and said further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.

Law enforcers have also confirmed that the child's mother is currently being sought.

The circumstances surrounding the baby's death are not yet clear.

Investigations are ongoing.
