26-y-o 'Elder' gunned down in Spanish Town
Gunfire shattered the quiet in Spanish Town on Sunday night, leaving a 26-year-old man dead in the roadway in yet another brazen killing.
The victim has been identified as Ochain Bailey, otherwise called 'Elder' and 'Quickie', a technician of Bonanza Drive in Lauriston, St Catherine.
Reports are that about 9:25 p.m., relatives were at home when loud explosions rang out in the area. Moments later, Bailey was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police were summoned and upon arrival discovered him lying on the roadway with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the upper body.
The scene was processed and the body removed.
Investigators say no motive has yet been established for the killing.
The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is now probing the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.
