Man killed near Cemetery in Linstead identified

The body of a man who was found near the Commodore Cemetery yesterday in Linstead, St Catherine has been identified.

He is known only as ‘Puddy,’ from the Commodore District in Linstead.

Initial reports say that sometime after 5:00 p.m., residents of Grove Road in Linstead heard explosions.

‘Puddy,’ who is said to have been in the company of friends, was later found with several gunshot wounds.

The police are currently investigating.

His death brings the number of homicides in the St Catherine North division to 17 since the start of the year.
