Man arrested following firearm seizure

The Kingston Central police have taken one man into custody following the seizure of a firearm and four rounds of ammunition during an operation on North Street, Kingston, on Saturday.

Reports are that about 12 p.m., officers went to a search a premise on North Street where one Smith and Wesson .38 revolver with two .38 rounds and two 9 mm rounds were seized.

One man was taken into custody in relation to the seizure. However, his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
