DJ Lava gives back to alma mater

DJ Lava of online entertainment hub Chat and Laugh presented a cheque for $150,000 to Reverend Carl F. Clark, the principal of Holy Trinity High School, his alma mater.

The donation was made while DJ Lava was in Jamaica to do disc jockey duties at the BRT Music Fest. DJ Lava, who has skyrocketed to local and international fame, took the time out of his busy schedule to visit his home town and give back to the school that played a major role in his early life. The donation, which was made to the Kingston-based school's general fund, is aimed at supporting the academic needs of students.

"I am excited to give back to the school that laid the foundation for my success in the music industry," said DJ Lava. "I hope this donation will contribute to the school's goal of providing quality education to its students, and that it inspires other alumni to give back to their respective schools."

Clark expressed his gratitude to DJ Lava for his donation and for taking the time to visit the school. DJ Lava's success story is a source of inspiration to many of the students and he looks to continue to support the school.
