Chuck Fenda and Cherine Anderson reunite on ‘Eternal Fire’
The year 2007 was a big one for singjay Chuck Fenda and singer Cherine Anderson as they hit paydirt with the monster single, Coming Over Tonight.
The single was not only a big hit locally, but it also topped reggae charts regionally and stateside. Now, 16 years later, Chuck Fenda and Anderson have reunited for the song titled Call on Me. It is featured on Chuck Fenda's recently released 15-track album Eternal Fire, which was produced by Echo One Productions' Dwayne Cowans.
"Cherine is just an amazing artiste to work with. From day one when we did Coming Over Tonight, a song that became a classic, I have always enjoyed working with her. People were always asking when I am going to work with her again, and based on the request from the fans we decided to work on this song. Cherine is exceptionally different when it comes to the music," Chuck Fenda disclosed.
Eternal Fire also has another collaboration with a female artiste. Newcomer Krisique is featured on So Real. Chuck Fenda said the album is filled with various messages that people can relate to.
"The messages in the songs are very important. We bring the Jamaican flag high around the world, so people can expect great things from the album. The message is so essential, and it's like food to the people dem soul," he said.
Among the tracks featured on Eternal Fire are Song for Mama, Walk by Faith and Just Ah Lil Bit.
