Sany-G, Ovarall Creating A ‘New Wave’

Up-and-coming dancehall artistes Sany-G and Ovarall recently dropped the visuals for their latest single, New Wave.

It was voiced on the '1 Globe' rhythm, which was released on the Eagle Lloyd Records label. The single talks about the rise from poverty to earning millions of dollars. The song balances a classic dancehall flow with a new age sound. Sany-G and Ovarall revealed that they have known each other for years.

"I was glad to join my brother on this project. As two artistes who grew up in the country, now is the time to show them our talent. I'm happy with the direction of the promotion; the song has been making some waves so far," said Sany-G. Ovarall explained how the collaboration came about.

"When Eagle Lloyd reached out to me with this rhythm, I immediately reached out to Sany-G, a brother I've known since our schooldays at St Elizabeth Technical High School," he said. "I think we're sitting on a hit song, and I'm looking forward to the world getting to know it."

The single recently garnered placement on the FWD Vibes playlist on Spotify. Both artistes continue to push the new single while working on other projects.
