Hills Man not giving up Jah

Reggae artiste Hills Man is ready to take his place in the musical spotlight.

"The music business is very rough. Only the artistes who have the stamina and the right mindset make it. Sometimes it's heartbreaking to see other artistes come into the business after you and get a break before you, but I am still happy for them. Sometimes people ask me why I don't give up. But they don't understand; I was born to do this. I'll never give up because I know that one day my time will come," said the artiste.

I'M GRATEFUL

The journeyman deejay who hails from St Thomas is promoting a new single titled Never Give Up On Jah.

"I feel like this is the song that's going to give me my break. I'm getting a lot of positive feedback about it. A lot of people are telling me it's going to be a hit. I'm grateful to all the DJs who are playing it," he said.

Co-produced by Clement Ross and Robert McFarlane for Newave Music, Never Give Up On Jah was released on all digital platforms on May 14.

Hills Man, whose given name is Carl Leopold Graham, launched his recording career in 2021 with the release of a single titled Mother of the Yard on the Newave Music label.
