Leaving the USA and coming back home
Dear Pastor,
You are a man of wisdom and that is why I have enjoyed listening to your show.
I sent you a text message recently. I was telling you that I have been living in the United States of America for 27 years and I am packing my two pieces of clothes to return to Jamaica. You are wondering whether I am legally in America. Yes, I am legally here, but the system is not for me, so I have decided to return to sweet Jamaica.
I have a house in Jamaica and I am building another one. God has been good to me. I am 59 years old and I am still strong. I told my friends that I am not returning to Jamaica in a casket. I live in Georgia.
God bless you always. I love to hear some of your callers.

Dear D.,
I am pleased to know that you have been listening to the 'Dear Pastor Show'.
I am also very happy that you have your own home in Jamaica and are in the process of building another. You are a wise man. It is evident that you have planned intelligently for your retirement. Although you feel that it is time for you to give up America and return to Jamaica, you would have to admit that America has been good to you.
So many Jamaicans have gone to America and have not done well. Some cannot even think about returning to Jamaica, the land of their birth. They have wasted their lives. They have nothing, absolutely nothing. Some would not be able to even find the airfare to return to Jamaica. So while you are in America, encourage all Jamaicans to save their money and not to do like the prodigal son who wasted his life on things that were not lasting.
I hope that when you return to Jamaica, you would give me a call on the 'Dear Pastor Show'. May God bless you, my friend.
- Pastor
