Seaview Gardens sound engineer nabbed in alleged $100K liquor theft
A Seaview Gardens sound engineer is heading to court after he was allegedly caught making off with liquor valued at over $100,000 from a business.
Charged is 42 year old Jason Christie of Seaview Gardens, Kingston 11.
Reports from the Half Way Tree Police are that between 6:50 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, the business owner reportedly saw Christie running from the establishment located along Eastwood Park Road in St Andrew with a bag containing alcoholic beverages.
Further checks were carried out and it was discovered that assorted liquor valued at $105,000 was missing.
A report was made to the police and an investigation was launched. Detectives later took Christie into custody on Sunday, February 8, where he was charged with house breaking and larceny from an office.
