Two men held for homemade gun

Police attached to the Port Antonio Police Station seized one homemade firearm in Lime Tree Lane, Portland, on Tuesday.

Reports from the Port Antonio police are that about 5:30 a.m., an operation was being conducted in the area when an apartment was searched and the firearm was discovered on a windowpane.

Two persons were taken into custody in connection with the find. Their identities, however, are being withheld pending further investigations.
