In recent years, the use of digital payment network Zelle has increased among Jamaicans, especially those who choose not to join the lines at money transfer agencies.

Spanish Town-based deejay Elvitcho talks about the convenience of using the service on his latest single, aptly titled Zelle. The single was ptoduced by DJ Shortman and was released in February.

"DJ Shortman had a dream that I was at a concert and everyone was singing a song that I was performing. So, he called me and told me about the dream, and then he said he's going to build the beat for it. After completing the beat, he sent it to me and then I wrote the song," Elvitcho explained.

The artiste, whose given name is Jermaine Gilespie, said the New York-based producer "is very passionate about his work and always gets work done".

Formerly known as ViTCH, Elvitcho shared why he decided to change his name.

"I decided to change my name ... for various reasons as it relates to my music, and also to revamp and for rebranding purposes," he said.

He released the eight-track EP Weed and Cold Drinks 2 last year.
