Bossy looking for ‘Big Money’
Producer Bossy recently released a single by recording artiste Jamal titled Big Money.
As the name suggests, the track focuses on a high-end lifestyle, fuelled by access to money, and enjoying that cash with friends. The response to the track has been overwhelmingly positive so far, with the official music video amassing close to 550,000 views to date. Directed by MAGiX by-ART, the visuals premiered on May 6.
Based in Montego Bay, St James, Bossy, given name Jovia Dryden, has been in the producer seat for the past two years, inspired by his love for music.
"I always liked music and I cannot sing, so producing was the route I took," he explained. While his journey so far has been relatively short, the producer has managed to put out many high-quality productions, having worked with several artistes such as Shaqstar, Chronic Law, Jahvillani, Zulan O'Brien and Fyah Doops. With his dancehall-reggae sound, Bossy is quickly becoming a staple in the local music scene, with many more years of hits to come.
Several projects are in the pipeline, featuring artistes such as Bobby 6ix, Nation Boss and TeeJay.
