19-y-o allegedly hits man with board for not buying him a drink

Nineteen-year-old Renaldo Dixon is in police custody for allegedly using a piece of board to hit a man in his head after the man refused to buy him something to drink.

Dixon,a farmer of Haughton district, St Elizabeth, is charged with wounding with intent and robbery with aggravation.

Reports from the Lacovia police are that at 9:30 a.m. on August 15, Dixon approached a man and demanded that he buy him a drink.

When the man refused that's when Dixon allegedly struck the man in the head which caused a wound that bled.

Dixon then reportedly proceeded to rob the man of his money.

The man was assisted to the hospital where he was treated and released.

The incident was later reported and Dixon was subsequently arrested and charged.

His court date is being finalised.
