More than 80 bullets found in bag along fence in St Andrew

Police seized more than 80 rounds of assorted ammunition during a Wednesday afternoon operation on Chaves Avenue in Mountain View, St Andrew.

Reports are that about 4:35 p.m., cops were in the area when a shop was searched.

During the search, thirty-four .357 magnum, twenty-nine 5.56mm, eleven 12 gauge cartridges, four .380, four 9mm, two 7.62mm, and two .22 cartridges were seen in a bag that was along a fence.

No arrest was made in connection with this seizure.

The investigation continues.
