Farmer charged with burglary

Forty-four-year-old Samuel Bailey, otherwise called 'Duscal', a farmer of Craighead, Manchester, has been charged with burglary following an incident in his community on June 17.

Reports from the Christiana police are that at 9:30 p.m., a woman securely locked up her home and left. Upon her return, she discovered that her front door had been kicked in and items had been stolen, including a washing machine valued at $32,000, a fan valued at $4,000, a Panasonic television valued at $15,000 and a sound base box valued at $35,000. A relative of the woman reported seeing Bailey, who was familiar to her, kick open the door and enter the house.

On June 25, the woman discovered the damaged stolen items in her backyard. A report was made to the police, and Bailey was pointed out on July 1. He was arrested and subsequently charged. He is scheduled to appear before the court on July 9.
