Long before he took on the name Devin Di Dakta,  this little boy, born to Anthony and Gwendolyn Clarke, was running around in his community of Highgate, St Mary.

"Devin has not change much from when he was a child as a child Devin was loving, jovial and he still is," Gwendolyn Clarke said.

"Devin is family-oriented, he loves his family very much. Regarding to his music career I am very proud of him I didn't know that he was serious about music until he was 14 years old. Music is his passion so I pray that he continue to do well in as an artiste," the mother said.

With today being Throwback Thursday, THE STAR is taking you back in time, allowing you to meet Anthony Clarke, the boy who has since grown into a lyrical genius.
