Dipherence drops ‘Shoe Lace’ rhythm

Canada-based dancehall artiste and producer Dipherence is pleased with the response to his debut project, the 'Shoe Lace' rhythm.

The project, which features songs from several up-and-coming dancehall artistes, including Brimstone, Planky Don, and Kelard Tha Lyricist, was released on February 28 on the TOPHITSMUZYKK imprint.

"I'm happy with the response that this project is receiving. It's getting support from DJs in various parts of the world including Jamaica, the US, Canada, Africa, the UK, and Europe," said Dipherence.

The Kingston-born deejay decided to go into music production to give himself and other aspiring dancehall artistes an opportunity to make a name for themselves in the music business.

"I've created this label to give myself and the artistes in my circle a platform to explore their creativity and achieve success with their talent. This is a serious investment, therefore, I am doing everything I can to make this project a success," said Dipherence.

Although it's not easy being a recording artiste and a producer, Dipherence is determined to make his mark in both spheres of the music business.

"When I am not in the studio, I spend a lot of time reading and watching videos online about the music business. I also have a great publicist and mentor who offers me a lot of guidance," he said.
