It is shaping up to be a big year for Florida-based recording artiste Nuh Layce as he looks to build on a productive 2022.

He said that last year, work was mostly done behind the scenes, on the business side of music.

"I got to meet a few wonderful people in high places, did a few meetings along the way. I got two management offers that are still unconfirmed by my team at the moment, and I also got a brand ambassador offer, which my lawyer and I are looking over right now. Thanks be to God, 2022 was great," the artiste reflected.

Describing his music as a fusion of traditional dancehall and new-era sounds, the artiste has released several singles, such as Pick N Choose, Can't Style We and Pree Mi Life.

"The key word I'd use to describe my music would be 'different'. Anything different stands out from the rest; my words, my tempo, my flow, my rhyme pattern. They are all structured in a different way from what you would typically hear," he stated. With great feedback on his releases so far, the artiste is optimistic about what's to come.

"Success comes with hard work and consistency, so my plan is to work harder and harder every day and stay consistent for my fans this year. Also, my name itself is a brand for which I own the copyright, and my online store website will be launched this year. It's all business and hard work, then the universe will do the rest," the artiste said.

As he decides on the path he will take in regard to management, the artiste is also looking at capitalising on the popularity of reggaeton and will be incorporating that genre more into his sound this year.
