Xyclone goes viral with ‘Story Time’

Deejay Xyclone has scored a viral hit with the single, Story Time.

More than 600 videos of people either performing the song or singing it have made their way onto social media platform TikTok recently. The song, released January 3, was produced by Gold Up.

"The promotion of the song has been going well. I actually posted a video of myself back in November last year freestyling to the lyrics before I even recorded the song, and people were reposting it doing dance challenges. So I decided to go ahead and make it an official song," said Xyclone.

He added "TikTok started to blow up right before Christmas. The song was supposed to come out on Gold Up's album in March but, because people were reacting to it so well, we decided to release it now."

Xyclone said he plans to extend the promotion of the song outside of social media platforms.

"Yes, DJs have requested the song and it's already being played on radio and in street dances. People from all over are dancing to it on TikTok, from the USA, to Japan, Ukraine, Guyana, Trinidad and especially Jamaica," said Xyclone.

Story Time is the lead single from Xyclone's upcoming EP titled God and Time, which is scheduled for a February 10 release.
