Convicted Jamaican drug kingpin Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke will spend another year behind bars, with his projected prison release date pushed back from January 2028 to January 2029.

The information is listed on the website of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

No reason was provided for the extension.

The development follows a news report  which claim that Coke and music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs were allegedly involved in a physical confrontation at the federal jail where the rapper is serving his sentence.

The information has not been independently verified.

Coke was sentenced to 23 years in prison in 2012 for his role in a drug conspiracy.

Under the revised release date, the  amount of time Coke would spend in prison would be total of 17 years.
