Currenci 87 buzzing with new single

Fast-rising dancehall artiste Currenci 87 has many reasons to smile lately, considering that he has been steadily climbing the musical ladder. 
The witty singjay has been enjoying a career boost from producer Reel J Records who has been instrumental in ensuring his increased presence on the local and international musical scenes. His latest single, Owna Tings, which is produced by Reel J Records has become a staple on local and international platforms.
“Right now, every time me guh on social media, me see something new with one of my songs or someone talking about me. So I am definitely enjoying the buzz. But as far as I am concerned, a now di real work start, cause di people dem a look now. Suh a just greatness from here,” stated Currenci 87.
Born Demoy Forbes, the Annotto Bay, St Mary, native is also the former protégé of dancehall star Dexta Daps, with whom he toured extensively. The singjay said he has invested years of his time and energy into honing his craft and believes he is now ready and fully equipped to handle rigours of stardom. 
“Me pay me dues and me spent the time to develop my own sound and style of delivery. Right now, I am a complete artiste, suh me ready fi di road 100 per cent, and di fans see dat and a do di right ting,” stated Currenci 87. 
Presently, Currenci 87 is busy promoting Owna Tings as well as recording in studio for several top notch producers, including Hustlevoice Records, who has also played a major role in his career behind the scenes.
