Reggae singer Andy Livingston is in a jubilant mood after launching his debut EP, Rebirth, recently at the Rebel T HQ in Kingston.

The attendees included several music industry luminaries, such as guest speakers ethnomusicologist Dr Dennis Howard, and General Manager of the Jamaica Music Society, Evon Mullings.

"I'm very pleased with the response that I'm getting since I launched my EP. The launch was a tremendous success. I got a lot of support from members of the music industry, as well as my fans. I have to thank everyone who attended, as well as the team who produced the event; they did an awesome job," said Livingston.

The EP launch also featured performances from several artistes, including Peter Metro, VC, Tai-C, Dave Brown and Livingston.

"I'm very grateful to all the artistes who came out and showed their support. It's always a wonderful feeling to receive the support of your colleagues," he said.

The artiste is now focused on promoting the EP and working on an album that he plans to release next year.
