Shalom prays for the world in latest single
Gospel recording artiste Shalom is reflecting on real-life issues in his latest offering, the single World In Trouble.
Produced by O Masters Entertainment, the track was officially released on September 23.
"This song is about what is affecting us worldwide, such as all these viruses. I released it so that people may know that no sin goes unpunished," the artiste explained.
The official music video, directed by SEM/WORM, was shot in the hills of Clarendon and, with its compelling visuals, has amassed over 10,000 views since its release.
Many listeners have given the thumbs up to the singer for the track, highlighting the timely and relevant message.
"We've been getting some great feedback so far. My hope is that this song will play all over the world," the artiste said.
Originally a performer under his given name Steven Harper, Shalom has enjoyed a fulfilling career that dates back as far as the 1980s. One of his biggest songs is the 1997 release Baby I've Got News For You, which reached number one on the Black Echo's Chart in London, England, and was a massive hit in Jamaica. Since his rebrand as Shalom, the artiste is now an ordained pastor and has taken the gospel route. Some of his most recent releases include Mi Daddy Nuh Dead, Jesus Don't Stop At All and Things I Use To Do.
Looking ahead, the artiste is currently working on more projects for release in the coming months. Fans can also look out for a new album.
