Parrable urges youths to heed parents’ lessons
With the frequent incidents of violence in schools, recording artiste Parrable is encouraging children to listen to the advice of their parents and to stay on a positive path.
He makes his case on his latest single, The Mother Way, which was produced by Bickles Production.
"I decided to do this song to save and protect children from the kind of stuff that we see happening in our society in recent times. I'm all for children following the good advice by their parents on how they should conduct themselves and live their lives in a proper manner, because good parents make a child become successful. I have seen instances where children end up being self-destructive without proper guidance," Parrable disclosed.
He said he feels the timing of the song is appropriate and hopes that the message will resonate with youngsters.
"The track is not yet released, but the feedback that we have been receiving from the radio is awesome. Most persons who have heard it love the concept, lyrics, melody and the rhythm," said Parrable.
The artiste, whose given name is Oniel Hibbert, hails from Portmore, St Catherine. For him, music began as early as his teenage years in high school.
"I used to beat desks in high school and hold a vibe. However, from time to time, with friends, I would exercise my voice on community sound systems. So that's pretty much how my love for music developed," he said. Parrable admitted that, at times, his musical journey has been challenging with various obstacles.
"But things have been falling into place nicely right now, so the future looks promising," he said.
