Jeff Fullyauto pleased with ‘Jericho’
Dancehall artiste Jeff Fullyauto is revelling in the early success of his recently released single, Jericho.
"The track is a storyline based on how protective my friends are of our brand. It outlines how they will go all the way to ... protect ourselves and our reputation if they are violated or we are physically threatened, without me having to be involved," the artiste explained. In creating the final product, he was inspired by real-life events.
"I used a storyline based on how I see people operate in the garrison to protect their area to narrate the song," the artiste elaborated.
Since its release on September 1, the track has received positive feedback, with people gravitating to the accompanying dance move and the vibe of the instrumental on the track. The official music video for the track has already accumulated over 2.4 million views since it was released two weeks after the track.
Currently in the top-20 of the Trending Music chart for YouTube Jamaica, the music video was filmed in the artiste's home district of Curatoe Hill, Clarendon and was directed by Jojo Ink Designs, Ghost Studios, Ragz to Richez and the artiste himself.
"My hope for this track is that it goes more global and attracts a new fan base," Jeff Fullyauto said.
In the music game for just about a year, Jeff Fullyauto describes his music as ' Sui-Generis', a latin term which suggests 'in a league of its own'.
"What makes me stand out is the context of my music and the sound I deliver. I have a very unique tone of voice so that with my melodies, I create an addictive sound," the artiste stated.
