Tanto Blacks still treating life like it’s ‘real rich’
Enigmatic entertainer Tanto Blacks says that "life is still nice", despite the spread of COVID-19.
"I'm not fretting," Tanto Blacks told THE WEEKEND STAR. "I don't allow anything to make me stress, even if I was to get sick, I maintain a happy, 'real rich' lifestyle," he said.
The dancehall entertainer, who adopted the stage name Real Rich little more than two years ago, says that the coronavirus pandemic does not have him acting "out of character".
"Some people have me as a gimmicks man or someone who is always happy, but them don't realise I am just being positive and is not unaware me unaware. Many persons never try siddung with me and reason," he explained. "When I say 'Real Rich', it simply means my life is rich, is not about money."
The Tru Billionaire deejay said that he is doing his best to educate his five children about the virus and the importance of maintaining a happy outlook on life.
Tanto Blacks said: "All like now, with this virus, and I don't even like call the name, like the other viruses that develop globally, Ebola, chikungunya, mono, and now COVID-19, they come and they go, and the world is so negative. We all need a little positive energy."
The calendar of events for the carnival season, which would have kick-started as soon as next week, was on the deejay's list to promote his latest single Strike Up Yuh Lightning.
"This only means I have more time to promote the carnival song for the time everything on lockdown. I am going to the studio when I can and there are many songs, maybe people don't hear them on the radio, but they are available on YouTube. All I can do is put in the work ... I am living life and keeping myself clean - happy I can inhale and exhale," he said.
He suggested that instead of buying tissue, persons should purchase bitters, ground food, and greens.
" 'Low out di meat and believe in the power of being positive. Remember, God bind everything, so instead of calling up the virus name every minute, call on Him, because once you have faith, it won't trouble you. All when a yuh neighbour get it, yuh say: 'God, keep that positive energy inna me', and pray and guh you bed," he said.
