Husband wants sex all the time

Dear Pastor,

I am 23 and my husband is 25. I love this man so much. He is an electrician. He works with big developers. We are doing well financially and we are both Christians. When it comes to sex, he can't get enough of it. He will do it with me before he goes to sleep, then he will wake me up at 1 a.m. Sometimes I beg him to allow me to sleep. And then before he leaves at 6 or 6:30 a.m., he is under the shower doing it with me again. When we got married three year ago and I complained to my mother, she laughed and told me that he would soon run out of steam, and she suggested that my father needed some of that energy. My husband has too much energy. I told him we should have an agreement that sex between us should be once a week and three times on weekends. He said that he was not crazy. He said that four times during the week would suit him and six times on weekends. Don't you think my husband is crazy?

You know your husband is not crazy, and some people may say he is greedy when it comes to sex, but I am not sure a man can be greedy if he enjoys making love with his wife. Your mother knows that young people can enjoy sex more often when they are newly married, but they do slow down after a while. Some couples never seem to slow down. Sometimes it is the women who are the aggressors, and sometimes it is the men. I can only advise you to compromise with your husband. It will not be the same forever, but enjoy a good sex life while it lasts.
