Jamaica's Olympic Games Shot Put participation is over.

The nation's duo of national record holder and champion Danniel Thomas-Dodd, and Lloydricia Cameron did not advance to the final of the Women's event on Friday morning.

Thomas-Dodd placed sixth in Qualification Group B with a distance of 18.37m while Cameron placed 12th in Group B with a heave of 17.43m.

They needed a top 12 distance to qualify.
