Father accused of raping 12-y-o daughter

The nation's police are investigating two new cases of sexual abuse, one of which was committed against a 12-year-old, allegedly by her father.

Information reaching THE STAR indicates that the father of the young girl started fondling her vagina and breasts last year. He also allegedly raped her and threatened to kill her if she told anyone. However, the child confided in her mother, who summoned the police. The father was arrested and charged with incest, sexual touching and indecent assault.

In another incident, a 14-year-old was abducted by a man in a car as she walked to a nearby shop. The man then took her to a section of the parish where he forced her to perform oral sex on him before raping her.
