Lucky Dollar equips central Jamaica students for success
Lucky Dollar Furniture and Appliance store last Wednesday distributed backpacks filled with school supplies to assist students at Mandeville Infant School, Witter Mcain Early Childhood School and New Bowens Basic School.
The donation forms part of Lucky Dollar's island-wide 'One School Supply Down' credit promotion offer.
The 'One School Supply Down' offer made it easy for customers to purchase furniture and appliances they need while supporting the brands corporate social responsibility drive that aids 10 schools in the community through donation of pencils, notebooks, crayons and other school supplies.
"Lucky Dollar continues to focus on educational institutions as a core aspect of our community outreach, by connecting and contributing to various institutions and organisations. This contribution to schools is one of the ways we support. We are happy that this small token of school supplies will have lasting benefit to the students, parents and teachers," said brand manager Suzanne Campbell.
Julian McGregor-Williams, principal of Mandeville Infant School, was glad for the donation.
