Various rural communities facing water issues
The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that the Martha Hall facility in St Mary is out of service, as a result of single phase power supply problems.
Areas impacted are: Mosquito Hole, Marlborough and Martha Hall.
Also in St Mary, the company is reporting that operations at the Agualta Vale Treatment Plant is suspended to facility pipeline repairs on the network.
Affected areas are: Highgate, Richmond, Esher, Lewis Store, Frazerwood, Clonmwell, Belfield, Stockholm Park Housing Scheme, Islington, Harewood Hall, Albany, Zion Hill, and Robins Bay
Meanwhile, high turbidity levels have forced the shutdown of the Chester and Windsor Castle pumping stations in St Ann and Portland, respectively.
Impacted areas include Chester and Spicy Grove in St Ann, and Windsor Castle, Salmon Town, Aldon, Hart Hill, Newlands, Logwood, Montpelier Housing Scheme, all in Portland.
Customers are being assured that their regular water supply will resume as soon as normality returns to the facilities.
