Twinkle Brain collabs with dancehall icons

Dancehall artiste Twinkle Brain has had a successful six-month run, landing collaborations with dancehall icons Bounty Killer and Beenie Man.

The latest single, the collaboration with Bounty Killer titled Dem Fear We, has already been generating major attention in the dancehall since its release on January 6.

"It's a gangster song. It was a great experience to do this song with Bounty Killer. I wrote the song, and the 'Warlord' gave it the seal of approval. I voiced my part and sent the demo to him and he voiced his part and we just put everything together and ah magic, no form a problem," Twinkle Brain said. His collaboration with Beenie Man is titled Happy Life.

"Mi feel proud to know that I have landed two collaborations with two of the biggest names in dancehall in just six months, so things are looking up for 2023. The feedback so far on Dem Fear We has been good. We are thinking about the video now," he said.

Born and raised as Jason Vassell in Port Antonio, Portland, the deejay took his passion for music and turned into a career. He commanded the stage of his high school concerts, then took his talents to the Magnum Kings and Queens of Dancehall stage in 2012 where he impressed crowds with his charismatic performances.

Twinkle Brain has been under the tutelage of Beenie Man for years. In 2021, Twinkle Brain released the EP Go Harder with the title track and songs such as Gratitude and Regardless.
