BlondieBillz returns with a buzz

New York media house Billionairemagmedia is tapping into reggae/dancehall music in a major way.

The entity was launched in 2019. However, during the pandemic, the brand lost momentum when its CEO Michelle 'BlondieBillz' Blake Bell was hospitalised due to severe complications from the illness.

The brand relaunched in July, with the staging of its annual event, 'Brunch With Blondie and Friends'. In addition to Blake Bell, entrepreneurs Sunshine Smith Williams and Paris Ottey, as well as fashion designer Raquel Mills were celebrated.

Since then, the momentum has been building. Blake Hall tapped into the Boston-based reggae scene, and is working with reggae artiste Jahriff. The artiste's latest project is a song titled Groovin. Blake Hall praised the artiste and his song for its impactful and meaningful lyrics. She said that she believes this song has helped her and her brand to get back up and running.

"My love for the positive message from music has helped me in my darkest days. Now, I want to explore and help get music with meaning out there," she stated.

Blake Hall said that the goal is to keep focused and continue rebuilding her brand. She has also started working with long-time music maker Ras Ghandi and Jamaica-based up-and-coming artiste Young Garvey.

With the help of her husband Percey Bell, Blake Bell's brand is venturing into something new. In 2023, artiste management will be added to the Billionairemagmedia brand.
