Ourhouse Muzik producer Paul 'Zico' Nelson says he is at his wits' end trying to get radio to play a song written by 10-year-old Chantoe-Bree, which hits out against child molesters.

The problem, Nelson told THE WEEKEND STAR, is not the message, but rather the messenger. The song, which is titled Paedophile, was written by Chantoe-Bree with assistance from her father

"A lot of people are having issues with her singing this song," Nelson said.

"A radio station in England told me that it is not appropriate for a child to be delivering that message. Locally, they have problems with certain words like 'dutty' but Sean Paul is on radio every day saying 'Dutty Yow!' and Romain Virgo has a song titled Dutty Man. They also say that 'private parts' is too vulgar for radio. Maybe clearer guidelines are needed from the Broadcasting Commission as to what is an infringement," Nelson suggested.

In Paedophile Chantoe-Bree chants:

"Hey dutty paedophile low di little child

She nuh ready fi nuh man yet a little juvenile

Gwaan wid yuh money she nuh waan see yuh coil

A bet seh mi mek Pink Wall read yuh file

To all a di children now me a talk

Don't mek nobody touch yuh private part

If dem touch yuh private part JCF yuh fi call ... ."

She also declares that " mi not wishing bad fi people mi nuh want part a dat, but mi wish every paedophile get heart attack".

Chantoe-Bree told THE WEEKEND STAR that she "wrote the song to bring awareness to children, both male and female, to watch out for the paedophiles and the child molesters".

Her inspiration, she shared came one day when she saw a picture in a newspaper.

"You could see a girl and an adult was covering her mouth, so I decided that I was going to write a song about paedophiles and child molesters. I love to write poems and songs," Chantoe-Bree explained.

Her father, Sean Burke, recalled that he had been "vibing" to a rhythm with Chantoe-Bree in the car and she started chanting "paedophile" and making up the lyrics on the spot.

"I guided her a bit and did a video and posted it on Instagram. Pretty Don saw it and posted it and her followers went up from 80 to 400. Then I got calls that my daughter was on Pink Wall. I received lot of messages from people including Ourhouse Muzik. We recorded the song properly, but mainstream media has a problem. But who better to give this message than a 10-year-old?"

With the release of Paedophile scheduled for early this month, Ourhouse Muzik is back in the studio trying to "fixit for radio" and Chantoe-Bree is already recording her second track.
