Yaksta stamps class at Badda Bling birthday party

Yaksta turned in a thrilling performance at Badda Bling's birthday celebrations, held at the AIV Club in Naggo Head, Portmore, St Catherine, last Saturday.

The Ambition hitmaker was well received by patrons as he unleashed a string of conscious songs, interspersed with strong social commentary. Yaksta, in his set, decried the numerous reports of attack on women. He said that he was raised to love and appreciate women, stating that he is the only son for his mother, and that he grew up with 13 sisters.

At the same time, Badda Bling, an ace disc jock, delivered a captivating set. His social commentary was on point, as he touched topics to which most people from humble beginnings can relate. His heart-rending tales of the struggles he had as a child living with a single mother connected with his listeners, as every syllable he uttered was met with loud 'forwards'.
