Gospel recording artiste Sone G is bringing a new flair to his single Spirit A Move, with a remix featuring Bishop Escobar.

"I saw a profile interview of [Bishop Escobar] telling his story about how he got his name and I thought to myself it would be good to connect with him on this project, seeing his roots in being a church youth at heart," Sone G revealed.

Particularly impressed by his unique background, Sone G enlisted Bishop Escobar for this collaboration, in an effort to uplift communities.

"I think this collaboration was the right move. I think it's the right audience as well. I hope it speaks in a powerful way and invokes the spirit of the living God wherever it is aired," Sone G said.

Marrying gospel with secular music, the artiste hopes to use this track as a means of connecting the two worlds and bringing more music lovers to Christ.

"I hope people will be encouraged by it. I hope they see that Christians aren't afraid of using our dancehall culture to preach the gospel. As a matter of fact I hope that more gospel artistes would collaborate with dancehall artistes in order to reach more ears with the good word," the artiste added.

With his musical journey spanning over a decade, Sone G started out as part of a music duo in 2008 and has been on his solo path since 2018.

"I'm looking forward to the holidays and working on some new projects for 2023," Sone G stated.
